Lamb Stew

ingredients:

1/2 to 1 lb of stewing beef (cut into bite sized pieces)
1 medium onion, chopped coarsely
2 cloves of garlic, minced
2-3 potatoes, chopped coarsely
3-4 carrots, pealed and sliced coarsely
1 can of peas
1 can of sliced mushrooms
1 can of beef broth (no water added)
2 and 1/2 heaping teaspoons of flour or corn starch
1 heaping tsp of Sage
Hot Pepper Sauce to taste
Montreal Steak Spice to taste
1/4 tsp of Salt and Pepper

Instructions:

1. Add the beef broth and flour to the slow cooker and stir. This will thicken the sauce, and create a nice gravy when the cooking is done.
2. Add the Peas, Carrots, Onion, Garlic, Potatoes, and Mushrooms.
3. Chop up the stewing beef into bite sized pieces, and add it.
4. Sprinkle the beef on top with the Salt and Pepper, Hot Pepper Sauce, Sage and Montreal Steak Spice to taste.

This is a killer recipe, which goes very well with rye bread, a green salad with dressing.
